Annabelle Gurwitch is an American writer, comedian and TV host who is most well-known for her role as hostess of Dinner and a Movie on TBS and activist in the environment and secular humanism. Annabelle Gurwitch, a New York Times bestseller and critically acclaimed actress is The New York Times's Top-Seller Author for her memoirs: Wherever You Are There Then I'm Sure That You Did An Effort Said Tomato When you say Fired, I Speak Shut Up And was fired. The comedy show on TBS was also produced by Annabelle Gurwitch. Gurwitch hosts Dinner & a Movie on TBS throughout the years. Television viewers will remember her appearances in programs like Better Things Boston Legal Seinfeld Dexter Murphy Brown, and the program on sustainability WA$TED that was shown on The Planet Green Network. Her appearances are regularly in PBS Newhour Real Time with Bill Maher and on NPR and also writes Op-eds in the New York Times WSJ The Hollywood Reporter as well as satire for The New Yorker and McSweeeneys.
